AURUS is the Keynote in the Kremlin
Castles of the Tsars, administration buildings, and now the President’s residence: The Kremlin has symbolized the power of Russian rulers for many centuries. The red walls not only house government buildings but also palaces, cathedrals, and the biggest gun and the heaviest bell in the world. The latest addition, in 1961, was the State Kremlin Palace. The building‘s key facility is a giant 6,000-seat hall, which has been used for party congresses in the past. Today, the hall is used for conventions, theatrical performances and concerts, activities which demand a high-quality audio system. In 2002, the Kremlin installed the first 13 NEXUS Base Devices for the State Kremlin Palace audio network. Another six Base Devices and a large AURUS console will be added in the Banqueting Hall, situated above the main hall, in autumn 2005.
